Okay, one can. But the white cricket sweater really wasps it off!
And the blue blazer of course...
The rest is just, well,... too much!!!

Finally
I have been searching for red curderoy trousers for a long time now, but never found a perfect color or fabric. So this time I found one, of course by Polo.
Its odd how I search for stuff for years and in the end always find myself buying Polo.
Up to today they never disappointed me concerning quality, fit and durability.
I'm the type of guy that needs to have sth. directly when it comes into my head, but at the same time I wont ever let myself be driven by this haste when it comes to sth. thats close to what I want, but lacks quality and durability.
This time again, Polo ended my search.
Polo wearers:
In Germany Polo appears mostly in the new money wardrobe, because of the placative motifs (mostly just the shirts) or on students of law and economics. Mostly young guys in student associations (Studentenverbindungen or Burschenschaften) wear the stuff.
Polo does stuff without the logo which is mostly more expensive. The lack-of-logo is what lures me and what they dont want. I never liked a placative, obvious look.

more antique stuff
really liked the facial expression of the two gentlemen . a mixture of an ignorant traveller (see palmes) and angry country people.
Handcrafted
I used to wear alot of Hugo Boss.
Suits, casual wear and more. Unless its a german brand theyve gone too italian for me!
These boots are 4-5 yrs old and are very different-I havnt seen anything close to this design since I bought them.
They are from the Boss series Handcrafted (100% high quality, made just by hand) which only made very high quality shoes and clothes. The shoes were very 1930s and they also featured Wing tips in white/dark brown.
These are made so well and have so nice details Id call them perfect when you only talk about getting shoes that fulfill everything a shoe-collector searches for. Id go so far to say they come close to Edward Green and some Crockett&Jones.
They even feature an integrated metal cap at the toe, which gives it a nice sound in each step.
The style is a different matter: Its not one of the very classic designs that most old well-known shoemakers offer. The Gürteltier-look oftentimes raised eyebrows... Nonetheless its really thought through: When walking each shoe folds in each step and after years of wear creates holes in the bending-area.
Those 'Handcrafted' are perfectly constructed to not let the leather suffer.
Imagine when you walk: The shoe bends in the 'waves' and since the leather is really thick in those 'waves' it will last forever and furthermore its a very natural movement for this shoe, so you dont feel any resistance of the leather or pressure against your feet.
What do you think about this baby?

Weekend country-stay
Monday was a free day in GER, so we enjoyed a little castle-atmosphere and Wellness. We got a private tour through all the houses around, including Orangerie, horse-boxes and "Gesindehäuser" (homes for the valet/ staff). Unbelievable. He is "just" a count but his treasures, paintings and antiques are in quantities and conditions as no Herzog can name its own.

This is my beloved dog Candy.
Prince Charles also appreciates the qualities of this race. Here his dog Trigger!

The white ball is my beloved truffel-salami, framed with parmesan-cheese.

british country vs. german country.
What do you prefer?!
The german Janker really is uptight and unfortunately keeps wandering up when Im trying to make a picture. So imagine its less closed.
Easier to take a pict of is the british tweed jacket of course.
Both combined with a TM Lewin tie and a Profuomo PS with the pheasants.

How dyou like this?
The artist calls it a lake-forest reflexion. He is local and I am considering hanging it into ny appt. since it matches the dark wood and the red curtains and my green banker lamps...

Hennessy, matte green rubber case
I bought this to a flight to London and planned to enjoy it on my way back, but unless it was packed perfectly they insisted to pour it down the drain... So quikly before they pulled it away from me I downed half of it nearly vomiting infront of 100people. I could keep the supercool rest of it though. And btw I dont even enjoy Hennessy alot. ...but I did enjoy my flight bigtime;-)
Now I enjoy a GT (s. pict) with Gordon's and am, as LBF does from time to time, happily senseless and occasion-less dressed as I enjoy it instead of hanging in my joggers all the time.
And: These are vintage OP frames btw from the 70's. A shop in my city still has got a small and new bunch of em and sells them if asked for.
Furthermore, to make the evening perfect I read a friends book and listen to Ella Fitzgerald!
Hope you have a good one too!?

Feels vintage, this look
The tie is old but not vintage (Longchamp), the tie-clip is 'only' 30yrs old (inherited and not quite beautiful btw?!)... Where am I getting?
I feel like a 50's riding coach with this stuff. But still, hope you like it... I had fun wearing it.;-)
Ps: I used this fine ascot scarf as a PS at some place. It really works with deep pockets and looks super 'fluffy'!
